Throughout four years at Peace, students work with teachers to create a collection of their best and most meaningful work in each subject. Senior year, each student presents her portfolio to frosh, sophomores, and juniors in order to demonstrate what she has learned and how she has grown. With the fine-tuned writing skills gained from this innovative program, Queen of Peace students are a step ahead of peers when they reach college.
1:1 Tech Program
Beginning frosh year with Introduction to Technology, students are trained with the latest skills in technology. Through usage in each discipline, students learn to collaboratively use tools, build knowledge, guide authentic research, and develop a flexible and seamless plan directed towards future goals.
The graduation criteria of Queen of Peace High School include a 60-hour service learning component with a reflection. Participation in service activities supports and affirms the mission of Queen of Peace. Each student will participate in service learning through classroom experiences as well as activities beyond the classroom.
Yearly program that focuses on the Dominican pillars of community, prayer, study, and service. Students also have the opportunity for a three day retreat focusing on Veritas.
